Nutrition education and healthy foods to promote healthy eating and protect the health of infants and children, and pregnant and breastfeeding women during critical periods of growth and development.

Breastfeeding Peer Counseling
In this program, for pregnant and breastfeeding women, peer counselors meet one-on-one to promote breastfeeding and help new moms successfully breastfeed their infants for as long as they wish.
Happy Baby Initiative
Help in coping with fussy, crying babies. A program to help strengthen the bond between parents and children and to create happier, healthier families.
Summer Food Service Program
Supported by the Council, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, donors and volunteers, the program ensures close to 150 nutritious meals each day when school is not in session.
Food Stamp Screening and Outreach
Helping eligible people put healthy foods on the table. Many Somerset County residents who are eligible for food stamps are not receiving them, but Somerset County Tapestry of Health can help.
