FHCCP is a non-for-profit organization that coordinates public health grants for a 24 county region. We serve as a liaison with funding agencies & service providers.

We currently do not have any openings, however, we are accepting resumes for the following positions:
  • WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor in Columbia, Cumberland, Montour, Perry, Somerset counties
    (must have nursed child for minimum of 3 months)

  • WIC Client Assistant in Columbia, Cumberland, Montour, Perry, Somerset counties

  • WIC Nutritionists in Columbia, Cumberland, Montour, Perry, Somerset counties
    (must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics)

Breastfeeding Peer Counselor

Are you looking to make a difference? Have you breastfed your baby for at least 3 months and want to help other women enjoy a positive experience breastfeeding?

Columbia/Montour Tapestry of Health is hiring a part time or full time Breastfeeding Peer Counselor to promote breastfeeding to clients and the community and to encourage and support new breastfeeding mothers. You must be self motivated, organized and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Past or current participation in the WIC Program is a plus.
