Assisting Central Pennsylvanians
Since 1973, the Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania has worked to improve the health and wellness of countless men, women and children throughout the region.
We work hard to provide you and your loved ones a range of health care and related services through community programs. These include:
- Cancer screening and education
- Contraceptive services
- Basic and preventative health care
- STD and HIV/AIDS services
- Nutrition education
- Adolescent health programs
Our impact can be seen and felt in and around the communities we serve.
In 2017, we saw a 32% increase in the number of women who were screened for breast and cervical cancers through the HealthyWoman Program, and 1,500 clients received HIV care and supportive services.
A safer and healthier central Pennsylvania is what we strive for each and every day.
