Pennsylvania Cancer Education Network
A statewide cancer control initiative designed to educate the public about prostate, skin, colorectal and ovarian cancer, which together account for almost 30 percent of the state’s cancer burden.

Funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the goals of the initiative are to implement and evaluate a uniform and consistent approach to educating the public about these cancers and to increase evidence-based cancer education in the Commonwealth.

The Council is the regional grantee for the 12 counties that comprise the North Central Health District.
